Sun Sea and Sandboarding

Okay guys and girls brace yourself because this will probably be a long one :P...

Today i went on a tour, it involved quite a lot so i'll break it down into chunks for your enjoyment :)
First was the Animal sanctuary, it was soo cool! our guide Harrie (typical Aussie with sandy curly hair an envious tan) took use round the park on a lightning speed 45 minute route, we got to meet and feed the Koalas who didn't seem to pleased to see 32 Asians, 1 Pasty teenager and a menopausal Lady from hull sticking leaves in their faces while they where napping...but we did it anyway, eventually they woke up and we had a little cuddle and stroke was really nice :)

After the Koalas came the kangaroos, there were awesome! i fed like all of them, they mauled me at one point because i stole Harrie's hat that was full of food on the floor, so i was overrun by roo's but it was so cute! petted them and fed them and got some photos for a while, was nice :)

Then i quickly discovered what a Wombat was....i wont say anything just look at the picture it sums everything up...

Moving on we hit lunch which was nice, it was in a small fishing town on the coast, although there was a guide tour of the lobster factory...yeah, force the vegetarian to learn about the mass slaughter of lobster and their fertile underbelly before lunch...yummy

We hit the pinnacles dessert about 3pm and it was a massive 43 degrees out there!!! got some awesome pics and had a 2km walk around the main area of the dessert couldnt go too far because i'd get lost lol, but yeah was awesome.

Then after another hour in coach we went to a different dessert to go sandboarding and go off road 4by4 driving. everyone was scared to sandboard and id never done it before but i was still the first one to go down these massive white dunes, accidentally picked an almost near vertical drop as my first go but never mind, what followed was an hour and a half of running up the dunes a whizzing down to the bottom in about a tenth of the time it took you to get up the bloody sand in the first place. I had sand in places i never knew i had...but was awesome definitely the best day so far, gunna be going swimming tomorrow if i can muster the energy, work on the beach body :P

Ciao! x
