So the last few days have been really lazy, I've barely done anything worth writing about, its been a case of eating, sleeping, tanning, shopping and all the hum drum stuff you can do anywhere in the world, until today.
Today was really cool, it was orientation day, or O' day as everyone here calls it. i got my uni at 10am and for four hours i wandered around a mass of different stalls and games and all kinds of weird things, it was really fun! there were a whole gazebo full of people from a youth group that had 2 main guys really working the crowd, they played games and rap battles and all kinds of weird shit. there was Limbo, inflatable surfing, fishing for ducks, wheels of fortune, food, drink and even a giant gorilla and emu...yeah i don't know either.
it was definitely the best welcome day I've been too, after about 4 hours of it i made my way home and trawled through all the frees stuff. am thinking about joining a few clubs just to get more active while im over here, fencing or volleyball or something. also looking into a few trips in April after my second student loan drops, either New Zealand for 4 days rebuilding a rain forest or Zambia for 8 days on safari and teaching English in schools, haven't decided yet.
